We had a lovely valentines dinner here. Vibe is cool, views of the river beautiful. Food was amazing and the waiter Emeric made the experience. He was friendly funny and very informative about the menu. Overall would recommend.

My wife and I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Opa Bar and Mezze. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and hospitality. The food was outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared, truly capturing the essence of authentic Greek cuisine. What made the evening even more special was the service we received from our waitress, Lola. She was attentive, friendly, and made us feel so well taken care of. Her genuine smile and thoughtful recommendations really elevated our dining experience and turned a great meal into a memorable one. We left feeling not only full but also truly appreciated as guests. This restaurant has definitely earned a spot on our list of favorites, and we will be returning soon. Highly recommended!

Lamb Shoulder (Half: $60, Whole: $120): It’s served with a complementary side and I picked chips. It tastes very succulent, well-seasoned, and the tzatziki sauce makes the taste even better. It’s undoubtedly one of the best lamb dishes I’ve ever had. Chips (à la carte $16) are also very delicious and I’ve always been fond of thick cut chips with honey mustard sauce. Rodi Spritz (mocktails) ($16): I don’t usually have pomegranate juice but it tastes amazing and just like real cocktails. I intended to order the Mezze but the stewardess said it’s equivalent to appetiser but the prices seem like main course prices. That’s why I ordered share plate and the portion size is decent for its price and quality. Besides, enjoying the food and magnificent view makes my day. Overall, great staff, excellent quality, love the river view despite the high prices, 9.5 out of 10!

A last minute event cancellation had us a looking for an early lunch. Walked into Opa Batna gave us an amazing table, recommended the most amazing bottle of wine and guided us through the menu! He was a pleasure from start to finish as were the other wait staff. Cannot recommend Batna and Opa more highly! Also kudos to the chef; best oysters we have had in a long time, every course was a tantalising treat!! Amazing!

Opa Restaurant is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, the ambience set the tone for a perfect dining experience warm, inviting, and beautifully designed. The atmosphere strikes a wonderful balance between lively and relaxed, making it ideal for both special occasions and casual outings. The food was simply amazing. Every dish was full of flavor, beautifully presented, and clearly prepared with great attention to detail. Just looking at the pictures is enough to make you want to try everything on the menu and trust me, it tastes even better than it looks! Each bite felt authentic and thoughtfully crafted. What makes the experience even more special is the location. After enjoying a delicious meal, don’t forget to take a stroll along the riverside. It’s the perfect way to end the evening peaceful, scenic, and incredibly refreshing. Opa is definitely a must-try. Great food, stunning ambience, and a memorable overall experience. Highly recommended and do visit your friends n families. You will love it. Dont forget to take a river view seating. Reserve it.

Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish! We did the 6-course menu for $60 and it was incredible value for money every single dish was full of flavour, beautifully presented, and perfectly timed. We left completely satisfied (and already planning our next visit!). A huge shoutout to the best waiter ever Emeric, he was so knowledgeable about the menu and drinks, gave us fantastic recommendations, and explained everything in detail which made the whole experience feel extra special. He was super friendly, attentive without being overbearing, and the service was impressively fast. The food was outstanding, the service was next level, and the overall vibe was perfect. Could not fault a single thing. Highly, highly recommend! 👏✨

What an absolutely beautiful dining experience at Opa Bar & Mezze Brisbane. From the moment we arrived, everything felt special — the riverside location creates such a stunning atmosphere, especially with the views right next to the water. It truly sets the perfect scene for a relaxed yet premium dining experience. We ordered the souvlaki (which was incredibly flavourful and perfectly cooked), and had the calamari — tender, fresh and beautifully seasoned. Every dish tasted like authentic, high-quality Greek cuisine made with real care and attention to detail. The cocktails were also beautifully crafted — refreshing, well-balanced and presented elegantly. Even more impressive was the service. While we experienced a slight wait for our food, the staff handled it so professionally and warmly, even offering us an extra drink, which was such a thoughtful gesture. Their hospitality genuinely stood out and made us feel valued. The food quality, the warm service, the drinks and the breathtaking riverside view all came together to create a truly memorable experience. We’ll definitely be returning.

We had a lovely experience at Opa. The Rib Fillet was absolutely delicious and tender - went really well with the jus. This amount was perfect for the 2 of us. The taramasalata here was also some of the best we have ever had. The staff were also kind and very attentive. And all this with a fabulous view of the Brisbane River and Story Bridge. We highly recommend this spot!

Loved my experience at Opa! The food was delicious and very wellserved, with generous portions and amazing Greek flavours. The location right in front of the river makes the whole atmosphere even better The service was great, and the cocktails were amazing. I have to mention the bartender ,he was Spanish, and as a Spaniard myself, I instantly felt welcomed. He even made me a tinto de verano, which was the perfect touch and made my night. Overall, a wonderful spot with great food, great drinks, and a beautiful riverside location. Highly recommend! 💙

We had a fantastic experience at Opa. Everything we ordered was fresh, delicious, and beautifully prepared. We started with fresh oysters, followed by the octopus with taramasalata, which was absolutely outstanding. The lamb with mashed potato was tender and full of flavour, and the Greek salad was fresh and perfectly balanced. We also enjoyed pita bread with dips, a lovely wine, and a margarita. A special thank you to Batna and his staff, who were incredible. The service was warm, attentive, and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend for a great Greek dining experience in Brisbane!
